In the autumn of 2015, Europe faced one of its greatest challenges so far. Countless refugees fleeing war and poverty arrived at its borders and wandered through its countries. Reactions were manifold from open welcome to razor-wire fences. A strange tension could be felt. Some claimed that Europe could loose its identity, others feared for its soul. "Asyl" aims to capture this atmosphere. It uses samples and classical industrial sound elements to assemble tracks reflecting the tension, the aggression, the clash of interests, the hope of the refugees and the overall confusion. In this "Asyl" is a document of one certain moment in time. A moment best represented by noise and distortion under fading control by rhythm. Artwork [Cover] is product of PNE. Limited to 30 copies.
